Panel talk: Working Together as NAAS

In a region marked by cultural richness and system precarity, collaboration across borders is both a challenge and a necessity. This panel brings together key members of NAAS (Network of Arab Alternative Screens) to reflect on how shared purpose and collective action have enabled us to grow as a network committed to diversifying film access, reimagining exhibition practices, and encouraging critical film cultures across the Arab region.

Through the experiences of four NAAS members (Sudan Film Factory, Film Lab Palestine, Palestine Film Institute, and Cimatheque Cairo) this conversation unpacks how we work together despite different local realities, how we build joint programs and how NAAS practices solidarity and sustainability through regionally grounded models. Nada Bakr, the Executive Director did the moderation.
